Greetings from SWAPP!
This has reference to the newly approved RA 11898, otherwise known as the Extended Producers Responsibility Act on Plastic Packaging Wastes, amending RA 9003, the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. As stated in the Section 4(a) of RA 11898, the law will also include representatives from Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) with track record on solid waste management or waste reduction, recycling and resource recovery studies and programs.
To show its support to the RA 11898, SWAPP’s theme for its forthcoming national conference, SWAPPCon 2023, shall be: EPR - Challenges and Opportunities. Our yearly conference is targeting at least 200 participants from the national/local government units, academe and private sector industries in order to capture deeper awareness and strong support to our advocacy.
SWAPP humbly invite you to our 2-day conference : SWAPPCon 2023 on November 28-29, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday). We will be very much happy if you will take part in our conference and considered as
active member/s of the Association.
Registration Fee is Five Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP5,500) only per participant. Payment/s can be deposited in SWAPP’s BPI Current Account: Account name - SWAPP; Account No. - 2371-0015-25; BPI – Alfaro Branch, Makati City.
